- Credits
How to calculate the number of credits earned?
When studying at Sunway University, students can select 3-5 subjects per semester (for a total of 20 MQF/ 30 ECTS/ 20 US Credits). One completed subject is usually worth 4 credits, which is equivalent to 6 ECTS (European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System) study credits or 4 US credit points.

- Acceptance & Visa
When can I expect to receive my acceptance letter
The Letter of Offer will be emailed to you 2 - 3weeks from the submission of the complete application documents.
Do I need a student visa to study in Malaysia?
Yes. All students will need to apply for a Student Visa (Mobility) for the maximum duration of 12 months of study. Our International Office will guide and assist in your student pass application.

What are the types of accommodation offered?

- Arrival
Will there be someone from Sunway University to pick me up upon arriving at Malaysia airport?
Yes. There will be a representative from Sunway University to pick you up from the airport.
- Student Orientation
Is there a student orientation that I need to attend?
Yes. The orientation is scheduled one week before the semester start.
