Effective 1st December 2023, ticketless and cashless parking will be introduced to the Sunway University Basement Parking. With the large number of students and staff arriving every morning, the number of parking tickets being printed rises along with the sun.

While the cashless and ticketless experience will provide car park users with a seamless, hassle-free journey – it also significantly reduces the need for paper and ink, which is toxic to our environment. Parking ticket papers are also laminated with a metal component (a necessary magnetic strip), which makes it harder to recycle. 

In alignment with our University’s commitment to reducing waste being generated on campus, this initiative will further our route to a greener and cleaner campus.
