2. Co-living @ Sunway House Waterfront Residence
This initiative offers accessibility, affordability and connectivity all in one place – the co-living space.
Sunway University’s staff can opt for living at Sunway House Waterfront Residence, a modern co-living concept designed to support young professionals in finding their own place to live. Managed by Nook Living in 2023, this residence aligns with Sunway Property's commitment to community development, offering holistic solutions that foster a safe, healthy, and connected environment for living, learning, working, and recreation.
Located in Sunway City Kuala Lumpur—Malaysia’s first sustainable township—Sunway House Waterfront Residence provides flexible, community-oriented housing options. Room and unit rental prices range from RM1,200 to RM2,550 per month, allowing professionals to evaluate affordability with options that are competitively priced compared to surrounding housing.
3. Provide housing as part of employment benefits package
The University provides housing specifically designated for the University's President as part of the employment benefits package. This housing arrangement is intended to support the President in fulfilling their role effectively, providing them with proximity to the campus and the community they serve. By offering on-campus or university-sponsored housing, the University fosters a closer connection between its leadership and the institution, facilitating the President’s involvement in campus activities, events, and daily operations. This provision reflects the University's commitment to supporting its leadership and ensuring they have the resources necessary to succeed in their role.
