Sunway University is committed to creating a safer, more sustainable campus environment for the campus community. Given that Sunway University is a city campus with a driving distance of just 0.26 km, a pedestrian prioritization strategy is essential for promoting sustainability and enhancing the campus experience.
The campus features pedestrian-only walkways at ground level, underground, and above ground, all sheltered from weather conditions. Security patrols and CCTV monitoring ensure a safe environment.
Link bridges between buildings further encourage the campus community to walk from one place to another. These efforts align with Sunway University's goal of fostering a greener and more accessible campus.
Pedestrian-Only Zones: Designated areas around campus where motor vehicles are prohibited, promoting walking and social interaction in a safer, quieter environment.
