ASU Executive Director Visits Sunway University, Strengthening Academic Collaborations
Celebrating a Milestone in Education!
Last Friday, we had the honor of welcoming Ms Susan Edgington, Executive Director and Head of Operations, Global Academic Initiatives at Arizona State University (ASU) to the School of American Education (SAE) at Sunway University.
Our school, established in collaboration with Arizona State University, is dedicated to offering high-quality American education with the option to complete studies locally at Sunway University.
During her visit, our SAE academics, led by the Dean of SAE, Associate Professor Dr Sim Tze Ying, engaged in fruitful discussions with Ms Susan Edgington about potential collaborations. This partnership is set to create seamless transfer opportunities for our students, aligning with our mission to provide an exceptional educational experience.
Ms Susan Edgington also visited Professor Lim Weng Marc from Sunway Business School and Professor Lau Sian Lun from School of Engineering and Technology, to discuss further faculty collaboration.
Ms Susan Edgington also had a productive lunch with Professor Dato. Elizabeth Lee, Group Chief Executive Officer, Sunway Education, Professor Abhimanyu Veerakumarasivam, Provost of Sunway University, and Cintana Education representatives to discuss future university collaborations.
We are excited about the future and the endless possibilities this collaboration will bring!
