Synopsis | This course targets those who are keen to be Digital Entrepreneurs. This course provides the essential elements pertaining to the area of electronic commerce together with its implications for the commercial macro and micro digital economy environment. It introduces the various business models that are used within electronic commerce, technology concepts, identifies marketing issues, and discusses various ethical issues associated with electronic commerce. Students will obtain an understanding of payments systems, security and legal issues, government policies, mobile commerce and other future trends relating to electronic commerce. It exposes the terms and concepts used in e-Commerce today and provide the opportunity to understand and explore the various components of e-Commerce. It also takes a look at the technological advances in e-Commerce in keeping with its relevance to the current world. |
