Amirul Idlan Mukhtar

Biography
An art enthusiast, Amirul Idlan Mukhtar has been fascinated by various forms of art and design since young. He founded ASK DRAFTERS, a platform for information-sharing among architecture students, and co-founded Doodle Malaysia, an artist movement that shares and showcases artworks. As part of this movement, he co-organised art events Conteng-Lah in 2015/2016 and Conteng-Bah in 2017. He was Creative Advisor for Kelab UMNO Luar Negara Melbourne in 2012, Designer Advisor for Muzika Melbourne 2012 and Illustrator/Designer for Yarra City Council, Melbourne, Australia in 2013. From 2014 to 2016, he was a guest judge for the Malaysia VEX Robotics Competition. A member of the Malaysian Institute of Interior Designers (MIID), he has worked in the architecture industry prior to joining academia. He has also tutored Architecture Design at Limkokwing University, Malaysia. It brings him joy and satisfaction to share his passion in art and architecture with his students.
