Priyadharshini Ahrumugam

Biography
Upon completion of her degree, Priyadharshini Ahrumugam embarked on a career in the training field in which, she has extensive experience in Corporate Language Training. She has conducted vocational, communicative and academic language training for a range of public and private sector clients in Malaysia. In 2008, she decided to take the leap into academia, and has since been working in Sunway University. She is currently attached to the Department of Communication and Liberal Arts, School of Arts, and her research interests are with a growing inquisitiveness towards the areas of inclusive and equitable education, media and gender, and active learning strategies in higher education. She was recently awarded a Postgraduate Certificate in Academic Practice by Lancaster University, UK.
