2022 Competition

Overview of 2022 Poster Competition

The pandemic taught us many important lessons, most importantly about how resilient we were in facing the challenges, learning to teach online effectively, and finding the right balance to support our students’ learning and well-being.  As life returns to (new) normal, students return to campus and face-to-face classes, some key questions have emerged:

  • What challenges have we observed in our students as they return to campus, learn to (re)establish social interaction, and participate in and collaborate in face-to-face in learning activities?  How do we support them during this transition?
  • What good teaching and learning practices did we discover during the pandemic? Have we left them behind, or are we finding ways to enrich our students’ experience by incorporating them into our current practice?

Academic Enhancement Division, Sunway University would like to invite colleagues from Sunway University, Sunway College, KL, and Lancaster University to participate in this poster competition.  Through your poster, you will share the lessons you learned during the pandemic and how these lessons have transformed your current teaching practices, and the way you support students. You are invited to submit an extended abstract that relates to one or more of the following areas:

  • Enhancement in teaching and learning, including blended learning/flipped learning
  • Innovative teaching practices, including the use of technology
  • Effective assessment and feedback practices
  • Supporting students’ transition back to face-to-face classes
  • Any other related topic on teaching, learning, and assessment that is connected to the theme of this competition
