Biography
Dr. Vikneswary Manogaran is a Senior Lecturer with over 20 years of experience in higher education and the logistics industry. Her areas of expertise include Supply Chain Management, Logistics Management, sustainable supply chains, maritime and port logistics, and digital transformation.
She holds a PhD in Management, an MBA in Logistics Management, and a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Management. Her academic and research experience includes serving as Principal Investigator for the USD 38,000 UNDP ASEAN Blue Innovation Challenge, contributing as a researcher to the EU co-funded Erasmus+ AsiaSafe Project, and participating in the EU-funded ADT4Blue Training & Mentoring Programme, focusing on sustainable development, blue economy innovation, and technology in logistics and maritime sectors.
Her research interests centre on sustainable and technology-driven solutions in supply chains and logistics. She is committed to connecting academic learning with industry practice, supporting student development, and contributing to collaborative research and innovation.

Principal Investigator for Project Blueport, exploring blockchain and IoT applications for carbon emissions tracking and reporting in Malaysian seaports.
3. Erasmus+ CBHE Grant – AsiaSafe Project (Jan 2021 – Jul 2024)
Contributed to the development of the MSc in Traffic Safety Management programme through collaboration with European partners from Sweden, Portugal, and Italy, as well as ASEAN partners from Indonesia, Malaysia, and Vietnam.
