Public Access to Buildings

The Sunway University campus is accessible to the public as it is easily accessible via the public transport network, and it is part of an extensive pedestrian walkway that allows anyone from the city to enter the campus on foot.
Free shuttle bus service
Another initiative is the free shuttle bus service throughout Bandar Sunway, now including Sunway University as a designated hop-on/hop-off station. This free shuttle serves students, staff, and visitors, with routes covering student residences, nearby residential areas, and local attractions such as the shopping mall, theme park, and hospital.
Canopy Walk
In its efforts to reduce carbon footprints, the University has introduced a Canopy Walk for students, staff, and visitors, offering convenient pedestrian access to and from campus. This Canopy Walk links the University to the elevated pedestrian walkway system across Bandar Sunway, providing sheltered access to nearby amenities, including other universities, the hospital, mall, and surrounding commercial and residential areas.
Jeffrey Cheah Hall and Auditoriums
The Jeffrey Cheah hall and auditoriums were named after the Chancellor, Tan Sri Jeffrey Cheah. This space is open to the public and regularly hosts public events for the community such as distinguished speakers’ series, professorial lectures as well as international conferences.
Exhibition Hall
The hall is located at Level 1, West Building of Sunway University. This hall functions as multipurpose hall, not only for exhibition - it can also convert to discussion/forum room. It is open to all students, staff and others to exhibit their showcase artworks, artifacts, or thematic displays and is accessible to all, including the public.
