Sunway Education Group takes student and staff safety, health and well-being seriously. We are aware and actively monitoring developments regarding the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19), and keeping abreast with all advisory notices and recommendations from Malaysian health and education authorities issued from time-to-time.
Safety Information
- On hearing the Emergency Alarm followed by Evacuation announcement through PA system, Keep CALM
- Walk to the nearest emergency assembly area
- Follow instructions given by Emergency Response Team Members
- Don’t use the lift, use staircase
- For Sunway University, Assembly Point is at Assembly Point A & B (Football Field & Sunway Bus Parking) Follow according to the floor
- For Sunway College, Assembly Point is at Assembly Point B (Sunway Bus Parking)
Nightingale Bay Services
Nightingale Bay provides basic first-aid care, and treats minor injuries sustained during office hours on the campus on the same day. The Bay also gives basic medical consultation, and checks blood pressure and temperature. Transportation to hospitals or medical centres will be provided for critical situations.

Lightning Warning and Emergencies
Stay composed upon hearing the Emergency Alarm and PA system Evacuation announcement. Head to the closest assembly area, and follow all instructions by the Emergency Response Team.
Student Induction Pack
Familiarise yourself with the University's Health and Safety practice and culture. Amongst others, acquire knowledge on Emergency Evacuation when the need arises. All accidents involving injury of staff, students, and visitors within the campus must be reported to the Health and Safety Department or the Security Department as soon as possible.
