Biography
Dr Kavitha Sathasivam is a lecturer at the Department of Management, Sunway Business School. Dr Kavitha holds a PhD in Business Administration (Human Resource Management) from Universiti Malaya. Her doctoral research focused on Green Human Resource Management which uncovered Green HRM as sources for gaining a sustainable competitive advantage in building environmental sustainability as means of achieving the climate goal of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs.) She also presented her research idea in Professor Dr. Robert Faff’s National Pitching Research organised by Universiti Teknologi Mara (UITM) in 2021 and was selected to be the final five contestants. Dr Kavitha has been in academia since 2005 and has taught management courses focusing mainly only Human Resource Management, Business Management and Strategic Management. Her research interests are in Strategic Human resource Management, Sustainability, Organisational Behaviour, and Qualitative Research.
