Biography
Dr Ng Shir Li is a Senior Lecturer with Sunway Business School. Dr Ng joined the Department of Accounting in 2014 and is currently holding the position of Programme Chair (Compliance & Secretariat). She obtained her PhD in Accounting from RMIT University, Australia and two Bachelor’s degrees — Bachelor of Business (Hons) in Accounting from RMIT University, Australia and Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Accounting and Finance from the University of Melbourne, Australia. Dr Ng has more than 10 years of significant experience working in several accounting firms and academic institutions, locally and in Australia. Her teaching achievements are outstanding as proven from the Sunway University Student Appreciation of Teaching Award that she received for the Academic Year 2015-2016 in recognition of excellent teaching performance. She also holds the position of Advisor for Sunway University Accounting and Commerce Society (ACS).
