Biography
In addition to her role as a Senior Lecturer, Chan Lay Guat serves as the Head of the Department of Actuarial Science and Risk within the School of Mathematical Sciences. She joined Sunway University in 2015 and has over 10 years of teaching experience. Lay Guat is passionate about mathematics and education, and she has earned several awards in her research endeavors, including the First Prize in the Teaching and Learning Poster Competition hosted by Sunway University and the Best Paper Award (Third Prize) at the ASEAN Quality Assurance Conference in 2022.
