“Always strive to deliver above average" is the motto that I hold on to, motivating me to pursue a career in professional media production. In 2019, I founded One Aerial Imaging, a video production and events solution company based in Petaling Jaya, Selangor. 

One of my roles at the firm is to provide comprehensive solutions to clients beyond traditional photography or videography services. Initially a video production company, this entrepreneurial venture has diversified into broadcasting during the pandemic and then expanded into the international e-sports market. Today, One Aerial Imaging also offers sound and light systems service for different events, including road shows, meetings, and social events. The entertainment and events industry has evolved rapidly, requiring swift adaptation to remain competitive. Therefore, one would need to be quick-thinking and able to make decisions swiftly to stay ahead of other industry players.

Some of my recent notable achievements include a feature in The Entrepreneur Magazine. I was also listed in the Successful People in Malaysia 2023 list by Britishpedia. With the hard work and dedication of the team at One Aerial Imaging, I am delighted to share that the firm will now be venturing into the Singaporean market, focusing on broadcasting and events. 

The School of Hospitality and Service Management at Sunway University has been instrumental in developing my personal and leadership skills. It has enabled me to pursue a career as an entrepreneur. I graduated with a diploma in events management in July 2015. The programme has equipped me with the necessary skills to become an entrepreneur. The most beneficial skills I have attained include entrepreneurship, presentation, and communication. These skills are of significant importance, especially when one is looking to pursue a professional corporate career. Furthermore, Sunway University distinguishes itself by offering an environment conducive to learning. Its network and connection with other Sunway business units also help to broaden collaboration opportunities.

Apart from academic development, Sunway University has provided an enriching student experience. During the programme, I had the opportunity to connect with peers from diverse backgrounds and courses, forming lasting friendships. Despite embarking on our various career paths, I am pleased that several of us Sunway University alums have remained close. Forging friendships during university years is essential for developing shared interests and cultivating positive behaviours, which will shape personal growth and learning habits.

I would also like to share my views as a founder and entrepreneur. Indeed, fresh graduates are an essential part of national development. In my capacity as a founder, I frequently interview fresh graduates who are seeking opportunities in the entertainment and events industry. A positive attitude holds as much significance as curricular and co-curricular accomplishments. While a skills gap can often be bridged through training and development, one’s work attitude reflects one's personality. So, I must emphasise that a positive attitude is essential as it can open up various opportunities. 

I look forward to continuing my journey as a Sunway University alum, carrying the values that have been instilled and the experiences I gained during my time at Sunway.
