Taroshan reflects on his academic journey in accounting and finance, highlighting the comprehensive understanding he gained regarding the role of accounting and finance within the broader context of business and management. Upon completion of the program, Taroshan received dual degrees from Lancaster University, United Kingdom, and Sunway University, Malaysia. This qualification equipped him with valuable knowledge and offered direct pathways to professional certification and chartered accounting routes such as CPA, ACCA, and ICAEW.

Sunway Business School's accreditation by AACSB International places it among the 6% of globally accredited business schools, ensuring that Taroshan's learning experience met the highest standards. As an accounting and finance professional, he recognises these professionals' crucial role in helping businesses manage their finances effectively, contributing to the economy's overall health and benefiting society.

Recalling his time at Sunway University, Taroshan expresses gratitude for the support he received from lecturers and the staff panel at Sunway Education Group. Despite initial concerns, he had a positive experience, with professors contributing hugely to some of his best semesters. The hybrid sessions during the COVID-19 pandemic were particularly memorable, showcasing the dedication and support of the lecturers.

As a real-life accountant, Taroshan developed skills in analysing financial data, creating reports, and understanding accounting principles and practices. His participation in the Deloitte Business Challenge 2022 further highlighted his proficiency. Additionally, he gained practical experience using accounting software during his internship, enhancing his communication skills, which are crucial in accounting and finance.

In recognising the significance of a diverse and inclusive campus experience, Taroshan acknowledges that his journey extends beyond academic accomplishments. Actively engaging in volunteer programs and assuming leadership roles in extracurricular activities made his time on campus extraordinary.
