Congratulations to fellow SUBS students who won the Deloitte Tax Challenge 2019!

Team Beyond Tomorrow was the Champion, whereas Team Flowery 4 was awarded Merit, both within the Team Category. Team Beyond Tomorrow was awarded RM 10,000 cash prize, along with internship and job opportunities upon graduation, while Team Flowery 4 was awarded RM 1,000. In addition, Lim Qin Lee, Alice Voong Shew Yin and Lam Hoi Yan grabbed 3 out of 4 Best Presenters awards. The 4 Best Presenters will form a new team and represent Malaysia to compete at the highly anticipated Deloitte Southeast Asia Tax Challenge 2020 against DTC winners from across Southeast Asia. The mentor for both teams was Dr. Chang Chee Fai, Associate Professor from the Department of Accounting, Sunway University.

Deloitte Tax Challenge is an annual tax-based challenge which tests Malaysian undergraduates' tax knowledge and provides them with learning opportunities from leading industry experts. The candidates faced business simulation tests aimed at getting them to think outside the box, applying their power of reasoning and working creatively with limited resources.
