Exploring the "Equation of Life"
In a recent class with our BSc (Hons) Actuarial Studies students, Professor Ho Chee Kit introduced them to this strange “Equation of Life” in Financial Mathematics:
Prof Ho encouraged them to explore its meaning from a philosophical perspective, relate it to their own life experiences, and reflect on how it can support their well-being, reminding them to stay grounded, avoid arrogance, and remain grateful.
