1. American Degree Program in collaboration with Arizona State University​

Students can complete a four-year degree at Sunway University, earning both a Sunway University degree and an Arizona State University degree upon fulfilling the requirements for both. This unique model allows students to receive a prestigious American qualification at a fraction the cost while benefiting from courses taught by both Sunway and ASU professors.​

Additionally, students gain access to ASU masterclasses and certifications, providing them with industry-relevant knowledge and skills. The global engagement opportunities through ASU and its partners ensure students graduate with an international outlook, making them highly competitive in the global job market.​

2. Arizona State University Pathway Programs​

Students also have the flexibility to transfer to ASU after their second or third year at Sunway University. The partnership enables students to transfer up to 90 credits to ASU, maximizing credit recognition and streamlining the pathway to a degree from one of the top universities in the world.​

Students have more than 20 pathways to transfer to ASU, ensuring diverse options for academic and career growth.​

For students who study at ASU for at least one year, the Optional Practical Training (OPT) provision allows them to work in the U.S. for one-year post-graduation, while STEM majors can extend their OPT to three years, opening doors to international career opportunities.​

Additionally, the partnership provides exclusive scholarships for students transferring to ASU, making it even more accessible to pursue an education in the U.S.​

3. American Degree Transfer to Other Top Universities​

For students who prefer to explore other universities, the American Degree Program (ADP) at Sunway University offers flexibility in transferring to a wide range of highly ranked universities in the U.S. and Canada. Students can typically transfer 60 credits to their university of choice for degree completion. Our students have successfully transferred to prestigious institutions such as Cornell, Johns Hopkins, New York University, University of Michigan, University of Wisconsin, and Boston University.​
