Biography

Norsalawati Ismail is currently a Lecturer in Department of Nursing, Sunway University. She completed her Master in Nursing (Critical Care) at Technology Mara University, Puncak Alam in 2013. In year 2007, she completed her Bachelor of Nursing Science (Teaching) at University Malaya. She obtained her Post Basic in Intensive Care Nursing from Johor Bahru Nursing College in year 2012. She trained and worked under Ministry of Health (MOH) for 18 years with her last post as Head of the Nurses (Matron) in-charged of Medical Department before joining private university as academician.


Her interest covers critical care practices, gerontology, behavioural sciences, acute and chronic pain practices. In addition, she is looking forward to build research collaborations with both local and international institutions, hospitals, and organisations. She enjoys communicating with students and believes each students has their own great potential to success in their future career. She wishes to engage and empower future nurses to excel in their journey to becoming a capable, competence and wise nurses, as they are our future nursing leaders.
