Biography

With a passion in pastry and bakery, Chong Wei Tzeh trained under Chef Jean-François Arnaud (M.O.F. 2000) in the areas of patisserie, boulangarie and viennoserie. He also attended the Professional Development Programme in Hotel Planning and Design at Cornell-Nanyang Institute of Hospitality Management, Singapore to gain a better understanding of the inner workings of the hospitality industry. Prior to joining the education sector, he was Senior Consultant in cuisine with a hospitality consultancy in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and has worked in several establishments in Singapore. He has participated and won awards in various national and regional culinary competitions including FHA Culinary Challenge Singapore, Culinaire Malaysia and California Raisins Pastry Competition. He has also collaborated with Toshiba to develop a recipe book for the brand’s rice cooker.
