Biography

Chef Norhafizatul Akma is currently a Teaching Fellow at the School of Hospitality and Service Management, Sunway University since March 2020. She previously worked in the pastry outlet of a five-star hotel located in Kuala Lumpur for three years. She obtained her Master of Arts in Culinary Arts Management from University College Birmingham, United Kingdom in 2017. She was awarded the Best Student for Industrial Award from Galadari Hotel, Sri Lanka, a notable award for undergraduate students. In the competition arena, she has won several medals including IKIP and Battle of the Chefs. She is currently pursuing her PhD, focusing on Green and Sustainability Production Area at Universiti Teknologi Mara, Malaysia. .
