Biography

Dr Ally Yeo obtained her bachelor's degree from Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR) in 2010. The following year, she joined University of Malaya as a Research Assistant under the Chemistry Department and enrolled in their PhD programme in 2012. She received the Bright Spark Candidate award during her PhD candidature and graduated from University of Malaya in 2016. That same year, she participated in the 8th Hope Meeting with Nobel Laureates held in Tsukuba, Japan. Her research focuses on the preparation and characterisation of coinage metal(I) thiolates, and the evaluation of their biological properties as well as intramolecular interactions involved in the molecules. She became Research Fellow at Sunway University in 2015.
