Biography

Dr Wu graduated with first class and Vice Chancellor Award for his Bachelor’s degree. He then completed his PhD in Cancer Pharmacology and Therapeutics at the Department of Pharmacology, Faculty of Medicine, University of Malaya. He was then completed his short-term research fellow in cancer research at the School of Pharmacy, Monash University Malaysia in collaboration with the School of Bioscience, University of Nottingham Malaysia. He is now joining the Centre for Virus and Vaccine Centre and Department of Biological Sciences, School of Medical and Life Sciences, Sunway University. His research interests lie in searching for potential anticancer and antiviral agents and understanding their associated molecular mechanism(s), as well as developing efficient drug delivery or targeting system to cancer cells or virus-infected cells.
