Padmavathy has vast experience in clinical nursing for 14 years. She has been teaching as a clinical instructor in many nursing colleges. Moreover, she has the ability to handle difficult students and high-stress situations. She is also calm in handling any problems that arise. She also uses strong verbal communication skills and humor to develop strong relationships with students.

She was a registered staff nurse in 1986 in various hospitals before she joined in university as an educator. She was accountable for maintaining the highest quality of patient care by ensuring safety   and standards through comprehensive ongoing training, coaching, and monitoring nursing practices
