Biography

Associate Professor Ir Dr Riady Jo is an experienced engineering educator and a robotic and mechatronic engineer by training. He is a Senior Member of IEEE (USA), Chartered Professional Engineer, APEC Engineer and International Professional Engineer of Engineers Australia, as well as a Professional Engineer of the Board of Engineers Malaysia. He is also an HRDF Certified Trainer. Dr Riady has won several innovation awards and is an inventor of two Malaysian Patents. His research interests include engineering education, robotics, automation, control systems, Internet-of-Things (IoT) applications, AI applications in robotics, small-scale energy harvesting and numerical solutions for non-linear PDEs.
