Biography

Dr. Lam Siok Ee joined Sunway University in 2019 as a Research Fellow at the Research Centre for Applied Physics and Radiation Technologies. She worked on the determination of the dosimetric features of silica-based materials for small-field radiation therapy dosimetry and has then filed a patent application on the design of a cylindrical Perspex dosimetry phantom in Malaysia during the course of her doctoral studies. She has had prior experience as an organising committee member for two international conferences (ISRP-15 and IFARP-3) in 2021. Her administrative duties now include her role as the early career researcher representative for the School of Engineering and Technology and a member of SET Engagement Committee. She has reviewed a few papers for an international journal published by a reputable publisher. Her current research interest includes, but is not confined to the characterisation of media using advanced radioanalytical techniques for dosimetry applications.
