Biography

Lim Woan Ning is currently Senior Lecturer at the School of Science and Technology, Sunway University, teaching computing subjects. She acquired her Master of Engineering (Electrical) and Bachelor (Hons) of Computer Science from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. She has vast experience in the IT industry, working in several multinational organisations over a span of ten years such as Shell IT International, DHL Asia Pacific IT Services and Standard Chartered Scope International. She is passionate about teaching and constantly strives to contribute to the education industry by sharing her industrial IT consultancy and project management experiences. Her research interests include innovative teaching and learning methods, mobile computing, machine learning and image processing. She is involved in a few research grant projects such as the Sunway internal grant and the MOHE Fundamental Research Grant Scheme (FRGS).
