Biography
Professor Satesh Namasivayam boasts 20 years in higher education, excelling in leadership roles such as Dean/Head of School across various Malaysian universities. A 3rd generation mechanical engineer, he was 1st runner-up (and only mechanical engineer) for the Malaysian education ministry’s award for curriculum innovation. Satesh was the 1st Malaysian on the Global Grand Challenges’ Steering Committee, USA, and was also the 1st Malaysian to win the Institution of Mechanical Engineers, UK, Young Member of the Year. As a curriculum designer, he’s designed 10+ engineering/built-environment programmes across Malaysia and serves as a lead accreditation evaluator for the Board of Engineers Malaysia, having accredited 20+ engineering degrees over the years.
